Development Works: Road upgrading works in Sittwe

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin, together with officials, inspected the measures of development in Sittwe on Sunday.

The Chief Minister and party observed the road expansion and construction of platforms along with the drainage system. Rakhine State Development Affairs is implementing the tasks with their budget allocation.

The Chief Minister and part later inspected the setting up Tetrapods to prevent the tidal wave near Shukhinthar View Point as well as concrete paving on HteeTan-U Oaktama road section and construction of drains.

The Chief Minister also met with local residents and urged them to maintain the road for long-term durability.

The Chief Minister and party then inspected the construction of concrete road, earthen wall, platform and drains in PyiTawThar Ward and instructed for systematic implementation of tasks to meet the set standards.
