Trade and Economic Cooperation: Dinner reception in honour of Russian delegation

On 22nd February, member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo, SAC member General Nyo Saw, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Planning and Finance U Win Shein, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe attended a dinner reception hosted for the Russian Delegation led by Minister of Economic Development of Russian Federation Mr. Maxim Reshetnikov at Horizon Lake View Resort Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw. The delegation arrived in Nay Pyi Taw to attend the 5th meeting of Intergovernmental Russia-Myanmar Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

It was also attended by Union Ministers, Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Iskander Azizov and high-ranking officials.

At the dinner, the co-chair of Intergovernmental Russia-Myanmar Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, Union Minister for Investments and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw and Russian Minister for Economic Development delivered speeches respectively, and the attendees expressed their best wishes for sustainable development of Myanmar-Russia bilateral cooperation.
