Development Works: Boosting cultivation and systematic waste management

Kachin State Government is actively working to accelerate oil-crop plantations and multiple cropping within the State.

On 21st February, Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and party visited Naung Nan Village-tract in Myitkyina Township. At Lisu East Field No.39 and Lisu West Field No.40, they inspected the arrangements to construct manufacturing roads within the fields systematically and coordinated with the departmental officials and local farmers to provide necessary inputs for multiple cropping.

On arrival at Palana Village-tract, the Chief Minister inspected the designated area for new garbage dump, construction of circular roads and concrete overpasses within the area. There, the Chief Minister stressed on increasing volume of waste due to urban development and instructed for systematic arrangements of the new garbage dump.
