Trilateral Collaboration: Deportation of foreign nationals involved in Telecom Frauds

Representatives from Myanmar, Thailand, and China met in Mae Sot, Thailand, on Wednesday to discuss the deportation of foreign nationals involved in telecom fraud and criminal activities.

During the meeting, they discussed accelerating efforts to combat online scams and online gambling and systematically implementing the deportation and acceptance processes among the countries of origin, transit, and destination.

The meeting also focused on plans for collaboration, including forming a task force and drafting an action plan. Additionally, the meeting addressed measures for the speedy deportation of third-party nationals via Thailand.
