India-Qatar joint business forum held in Delhi

Strengthening economic ties between India and Qatar, Qatari Commerce and Industry Minister Sheikh Faisal bin Thani met with Indian Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday at the Joint Business Forum in New Delhi. Addressing the forum, Minister Piyush Goyal highlighted the long-standing historical ties between India and Qatar, emphasizing the vast potential for further cooperation. 

The discussion focused on expanding economic integration, energy security, skill development, and financial services. India and Qatar signed two Memorandum of Understandings including between Invest Qatar and Invest India & between Qatari Businessmen Association, and Confederation of Indian Industry.
