Inspection tour: Bago Region CM inspected regional development works

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, along with region government ministers, inspected regional development projects in Pyay District on 17th February.

First, the Chief Minister inspected the 2024-2025 winter sunflower seed comparable  experimental plot in Pyay Township, Ngar Ywar Village Tract, and instructed to systematically record the flower size, seed germination rate, plant age, seed recovery, and yield of each sunflower variety, to invite local sunflower farmers to the comparable  experimental plot to educate them, and to also grow crops that can be grown alongside the sunflower.

Then, the Chief Minister and officials visited the River Erosion Protection Project, in Shwe Taung Township. An official inspected the situation of the sandbag Geo-Mattress spillway work in the Ayeyarwady River to prevent landslides in Shwe Taung Township.

Afterwards, the Chief Minister inspected the development of 100 acres of land in Tat Thit Village, Mingun Village Tract, Shwe Taung Township, heard the clarification of a responsible officials about the completion of the development of mechanized farming and the ongoing situation,  met with local farmers and gave necessary suggestions including to cultivate land without fallowing.
