




For providing faster and more reliable transportation access, Myanma Railways is carrying out the railways and bridges upgrading processes on Pyinmana-Taungoo Railway section.
On February 14th, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transports and Communication General Mya Tun Oo and officials inspected the progress of upgrading processes. Emphasizing on safety measure and sustainablity of railway approach roads, the Union Minister stressed for replacing of Cast Manganese Steel at the railway crossings for safety passing in timely manner.
He also urged officials for cleaning and greening tasks along the railway and railway stations. On arrival at Taungoo Railway Station, the Union Minister and party oversaw the working processes of replacing modern Synthetic Sleeper and upgrading process on Kha Paung Bridge between Taungoo and Thaung Tine Kone stations.
