Information and Public Relations: MOI Union Minister meets with IPRD officials

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn held a meeting with the Heads of Region and State Information and Public Relations Departments (IPRD) on Thursday.

The IPRD officials are in Nay Pyi Taw to attend the 34th anniversary of the department. During the meeting, the Union Minister urged all to strive for capacity development for excellent work performance while making efforts for development of media sector.

The attendees provide update reports on work undertakings during 2024, administrative works, library services and educative programs, reading habit promotion festival, publishing of news, copy rights registration and promoting motion picture industry. During the meeting, cash assistance were provided for the staff in border areas.
