State Economic Promotion Fund : Management Committee meeting held at MOPF

The State Economic Promotion Fund Management Committee held its meeting at the Ministry of Planning and Finance on Wednesday.

Committee Chairman Deputy Minister and Union Minister U Win Shein attended the meeting and outlined the plans for boosting production at the strategic regions, implementation of solar projects at the favourable regions with abundant sun’s light and providing assistance from the State Economic Promotion Fund for boosting production.

The attendees reported on the work undertakings for implementations of summer and monsoon paddy and oil crop cultivation during 2023-2024, loan disbursement for agriculture and livestock breeding works, availability of irrigated water and increased amount of loan for oil millers. The meeting also focused on extension of loan period, digging of artesian well, installation of water pump and solar powered-system.
