





Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo in his capacity as the Chairman of 2025 78th Union Day Organizing Committee, met with the ethnic traditional cultural groups from various Regions and States, who will be participating in the cultural performances for the 78th Union Day celebrations, at Nay Pyi Taw Sports Training Center in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday.
Attending the meeting were the Chairmen and Secretaries of various subcommittees, committee members, responsible officials from departments, and leaders and members of the ethnic traditional cultural groups from the Regions and States.
During the meeting, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, welcomed the leaders and members of the ethnic traditional cultural groups from the Regions and States and expressed his greetings, warmly interacting with them.
Later, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman and officials visited the accommodations where the ethnic cultural groups were staying, as well as the travel ticket sales offices, Sim Card and top-up card sales shops, Myanma Pharmaceutical Enterprise, BPI pharmaceutical sales outlets, clothing and household used steel wares shops, Sarpay Beikman book sales shops, clinic, libraries, and the subcommittee offices.
In the afternoon, U Than Tun Oo, along with the members of Nay Pyi Taw Council, the Deputy Mayor of Nay Pyi Taw and committee members, and responsible officials, visited the ongoing construction of MSME product exhibition and competition booths at the Dabaung sports field located at the south of the Uppathathanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw. They inspected the progress of the Union-level MSME product booths, regional booths, traditional ethnic food sales booths, and the construction of the exhibition stands. They also reviewed the operational status and provided feedback on the work being done.
U Than Tun Oo expressed that the work should proceed successfully and emphasized the need for coordination and cooperation to ensure everything is done smoothly, while also instructing the responsible officials on any further necessary actions.
