Opening ceremony of library: Mon State CM attended the ceremony

In the honor of the upcoming 78th Union Day, which falls on February 12, the opening ceremony of the "Thuta San Ein" Library in Thakkaw Village, Chaungzon Township, Mon State, was held on February 4. The event was attended by Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, members of the state government, departmental officials from the state, district, and township levels, social organizations, donors, local residents, and villagers.

The ceremony began with the Chief Minister, the Chief Justice, and state ministers cutting the ribbon to officially open the new "Thuta San Ein" Library building in Sakkaw Village. The Chief Minister also presented cash prize to the Drum and Bugle performance group from Basic Education High School No. 6 in Mawlamyine.

Following this, the Chief Minister and officials sprinkled scented water on the commemorative plaque of the new library building. The Chief Minister then toured the library, observing the collection of educational and literary books, furniture, and the young students reading and studying.

The Chief Minister and the State Minister for Social Affairs accepted donations of paintings and books from donors for the "Thuta San Ein" Library and presented commemorative certificates in return. They also discussed plans to further develop the library and interacted warmly with the students and local residents.

Later, the Chief Minister and party attended a welcoming ceremony for new students at the Technological University (Mawlamyine) in the university's convocation hall. The Chief Minister delivered a speech and presented honorariums to the students who performed at the event.
