Thai prime minister to visit China February 5 to 8

At the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Prime Minister of Thailand Paetongtarn Shinawatra will pay an official visit to China from February 5 to 8, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday.

During her stay in Beijing, she will meet with President Xi Jinping and hold bilateral talks with Premier Li Qiang and Zhao Leji. She is also scheduled to meet with business leaders from both countries to strengthen economic ties.

The visit aims to enhance the Thailand-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and advance their shared vision of a "Community with Shared Future".  She will travel to Harbin to attend the opening ceremony of the ninth Asian Winter Games.
