The Inhaa-be indigenous village inaugurated the first cinema in an Amazon indigenous territory. The "Cine Aldeia" project, led by Indigenous filmmaker Thais Kokama and launched in 2019, has become a cultural hub for film screenings and workshops.

The opening featured Kokama’s documentary “Traces of Resistance" along with eight short films showcasing Indigenous talent from across Brazil. The Inhaa-be community is home to Indigenous families primarily from the Satere-Mawe, Kokama, Tikuna, and Mura ethnic groups.
