Health Care Services: Providing treatment at Hainggyi Kyun

Tatmataw hospital ship (ThanLwin), with mobile special medical team including specialists on board, is cruising along its destinations to provide health care services to the local people. The destinations include Tanintharyi Coastal Area, Coco Kyun Township in Yangon Region and Hainggyi Kyun in Ayeyawady Region.

On Sunday, the ship arrived at Hainggyi Kyun in Ngaputaw Township. The medical team, based on the local military hospital, provided health care services to 613 locals in Hainggyi Kyun and its vicinity. In addition, arrangements have been provided for 35 patients who needed to receive treatment at the hospitals. Moreover, the medical team successfully delivered a child and both mother and infant are in good health.

This is the first case of delivering an infant during this mobile medical tour, and the 22nd infant in the history of Tatmadaw Hospital Ship (Thanlwin).
