Fresher Welcome Ceremony : Welcoming for 1st year Nursing Course (Regular) students

A Fresher Welcome Ceremony for 1st year Nursing Course  (Regular) was held at University of Nursing – Mandalay on Sunday with the attendance by Chief MInsiter U Myo Aung.

The Chief Minister gave an opening speech, saying that the role of qualified nurses is essential in providing health care services, thus the government fulfills the needs for human resource development in health sector. He also urged the students to strive to become the qualified nurses who could be relied by the state.

The ceremony featured the entertainment programs by the students, presenting Uniform Show, ethinic traditional dance and Myanmar traditional Fashion Show. After the ceremony, the Chief Minister and party took a tour of the university, observing the modern teaching aid equipments and pratical rooms.

Since its establishment in 1998, the university has nurtured over 4,800 graduates, and some of the graduates made further studies at the universities in Thailand and Japan for Doctorate Degree.
