Order No.16/2025: Formation of MNHRC

The State Administration Council issued Order No.16/2025 on Friday regarding the formation of Myanmar National Human Rights Commission.

According to Section 419 of the Constitution, the Council formed the 9-member Commission, chaired by U Paw Lwin Sein. It is also notified the dissolution of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission which was formed by Order No.3/2020 of the President Office, dated on 14th January 2020, Order No.68/2023, dated on 3rd August 2023 and Order No.47/2024, dated on 7th September 2024, effective as of January 31st 2025.

The Order was signed by General Aung Lin Dwe, Secretary of the State Administration Council.
