MSME Exhibition & Competition: Meeting of organizing committee held

For the successful holding of the Union Level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition, the work coordination meeting was held on Thursday at the Tabaung Ground in front of Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw where the event is going to take place. 

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Organizing Committee for holding the Union Level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council, chairmen of the subcommittees, Chief Ministers of Regions and States and departmental officials.

Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister said that the experts who are proficient in both theoretical and practical regarding MSME need to guide the entrepreneurs to be able to understand the nature of MSME and to spread the main aims and advantages of the MSME product exhibition and competition to the public.

Then, Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Ccouncil said that the digital system will be used in presenting awards, and that the awards for MSME local product, One Region One Product, the cooperatives product and the products of the small scale industries will be systematically selected in line with the rules and regulations by the awarding subcommittees.

After that, the director-general of the Directorate of Industrial Supervision and Inspection, chairmen of the subcommittees and the Chief Ministers made clarifications on the displaying conditions for MSME products from respective regions and states.

The meeting came to an end after the committee chairman and attendees made discussions and sought approvals upon the clarifications regarding the work process and implementations that are needed to be finished on time.
