A huge blaze at a recyclable plastics warehouse in Samut Sakhon’s Ban Paew district, Thailand has been burning for almost six hours on 29th January, despite the efforts of scores of firefighters and fire trucks.

The inferno, which started at about 10AM, rapidly spread through the warehouses of Mahachok Mahachai Trading, which contained highly flammable plastic waste from electricity cables.

By 3PM Local Time, three warehouses had already collapsed and firefighters from ten stations were working hard to control the blaze. A fire chief said that their work to control the blaze had been made more difficult due to the limited access to the warehouses and an inadequate water supply.
