Imported Cement to Arrive: Imported supplies of cement to arrive

As construction activities intensify across the country during the current open season, efforts are underway to ensure timely completion of the projects by addressing cement demands through a combination of domestic production and imported supplies.

In addition to output from local cement factories, imports via border trade and maritime routes have been permitted to supplement the needs. Reports indicate that the imported cement is expected to arrive by February 2025.
