Coordination meeting: Sagaing Region CM attended the meeting

A coordination meeting for the 78th Union Day celebration of 2025 in Sagaing Region was held on January 28 at the meeting hall of the Region government office in Monywa. The meeting was attended by the Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, Region Government members Region Leveal Departmental officials, members of the organizing committee, and other relevant officials.

Speaking at the meeting, the Region Chief Minister mentioned that committees have been formed to ensure the successful organizing the 78th Union Day celebration. He emphasized the importance of each committee working to coordinate and organize the event effectively in accordance with the regional level, and he urged the committees to collaborate closely for the success of the event. Additionally, he highlighted the need for timely reporting of progress to the regional government.

Following that, the Chairman of the organizing committee, Region Government Minister for Social Affairs U Nyunt Win Aung,, provided detailed explanations on the responsibilities of the committees and the preparatory activities that need to be carried out.  

Then, the responsible officials of each Committee discussed and presented the arrangements for their respective tasks, outlining the necessary preparations for ensuring the smooth execution of the 2025 78th Union Day celebration.

After that, the Region Government members and attendees exchanged ideas and suggestions regarding the preparation of the Union Day celebration, discussing what is needed to ensure its success.

Finally, the Chief Minister concluded the meeting by addressing the points raised by the attendees, ensuring that any necessary actions would be taken by the responsible individuals to complete the tasks, and he provided closing remarks to conclude the meeting.
