Congratulatory Message: Tipiṭakadhara Tipiṭakakovida Title Recipient Sayadaw emerged

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing extended a congratulatory message to the 17th recipient of the Tipitakadhara Tipitakakovida Title, Venerable Sayadaw Baddanta Sihtanyana Lankara The Prime Minister expressed his honour and satisfaction at the emergence of the Tipiṭakadhara Tipiṭakakovida Title Recipient who achieved outstanding result for two profound Abhidhamma Treatises.

The formal presentation of this message took place at the Tipitaka Mahargandhawon Nikara Monastery in Dagon Myothit (East) Township on Sunday.

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin conveyed the congratulatory message on behalf of Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing during the ceremony. Born at Ywabugyi Village in Yay Oo Township of Sagaing Region, the Sayadaw attained the monkhood in 1361 Myanmar Calendar at Sawbyalay Monastery in 7-Mile of Mayangon Township of Yangon Region.

The Sayadaw has achieved various prestigious religious titles, with the acceptance of Abhidhammika Title and Tipitakadhara Title at the 70th Examinations. The 77thTipiṭakadhara Tipiṭakakovida Selection Examinations were held in late last year and early this year at the Maha Pasana Cave in KabaAye Hill of Yangon.

The Sayadaw is the 17th Recipient of Tipitakadhara Tipitakakovida Title in Myanmar. This examinations is regarded as the highest and longest exam, not only in Myanmar but also in the world.
