Tour in Yangon: Inspection at housing project and integrated farming

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Myanma Thar Kaung War Veteran Housing (Lay Daunt Kan) in Dagon Myothit (South) Township on Saturday.

On his arrival, the Senior General heard reports on progress of construction works, settlement condition, plans for construction of Pre-School and Basic Education Middle School, plans for Sports Grounds and Play Grounds, and arrangements for water and power supply as well as condition of land utilization.

The Senior General instructed to make systematic work implementations to become a model housing venue. They then toured around the housing, inspecting the beautifying tasks and drainage system.

On arrival at the construction site of Shopping Complex at the corner of Bayintnaung Road and No.7 Street, officials provided update reports on work undertakings.

The Senior General stressed the need to install solar powered-system, to carry out greening measures in the surrounding areas, to ensure proper drainage system with specific road boundaries in the city. They later visited Thilawa Integrated Farm in Kyauk Tan Township, and heard reports on the efforts for development of livestock and marine products, market distribution with reasonable prices, plans for expansion and construction of animal feeds factory.

The Senior General called for systematic implementation of the tasks taking examples from the success of the developed nations. They then viewed the display of sample fish species as well as the agriculture and livestock products.
