Regional Development: Agriculture and infrastructure progress in Pyinmana

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Htun Oo and officials inspected 150 arces sunflower plantation near Zee Kone village, Nga Kaung Kan village-tract in Pyinmana Township in the morning of 25th January.

During the inspection, the Council Chairman instructed to achieve targeted yield, using high quality species and pure quality seeds for cultivation. He also emphasized to use natural fertilizer, along with the systematic preparations of farmlands and efficient use of irrigated water.

The Council Chairman also stressed to implement the mixed cropping cultivation and to conduct awareness programs for agricultural development.

The Council Chairman also visited Wi Thar khar Advanced Rice Mill in Paywat Sate Kone Village, and oversaw the operation process. Also, the Council  Chairman inspected  the completion of  2,000 ft long and 12 ft wide concreate road in Kin Pun Tan Village, and instructed to meet the set standards, and to ensure proper flow of water along both side of the road.
