Work Coordination Meeting: Plans for Shan State Day, Union Day & Htamane Event

On 23rd January, Shan State Government held its work coordination meeting to successfully hold the 78th Anniversary Shan State Day, 78th Union Day Celebration and 17th Myanmar Traditional Htamane Competition. During the meeting, Chairman of the 78th Anniversary Shan State Day Organizing Committee, Chief Minister U Aung Aung elaborated on timely preparations, assigning duty to the respective working committees.

Attendees presented reports on arch and stage designs, arrangements on dinner reception, MSME galleries, festive fairs, ethnic national galleries, performance stages, systematic invitation and placement, news and recording matters and current work implementations of the working committees.

Subsequently, the state ministers and departmental officials made discussions on 78th Union Day celebration and 17th Myanmar Traditional Htamane Competition. The Chief Minister supplemented the discussions, emphasizing on detailed portrayal of the history of Shan State and its traditions as well as the prominent landscapes and sceneries.
