





On 22nd January, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung accompanied by concerned officials inspected regional development activities within Pyin Oo Lwin Township. In Kyun Tapin Village, the Chief Minister inspected Yezin 9 species model wheat plot, heard reports on winter wheat plantations, annual cost and yield.
Upon reports, the Chief Minister stressed on provision of requisite assistance for the growers to ensure right varieties choices and high yield. On arrival at Myaing Gyi Village, the Chief Minister visited Shwe Kaung Kin poultry farm, heard reports on farming condition under open type system, poultry feed production by mixing raw materials from home and abroad, daily egg production and distribution at reasonable price as well as the difficulties encountered.
Upon reports, the Chief Minister coordinated necessities and inspected the farm. Afterward, the Chief Minister visited Thetkanchai village, inspected the model onion plot, heard reports and fulfilled requirements. Later, the Chief Minister met with the departmental officials at the Pyin Oo Lwin District General Administration Department.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister stressed on Green Zone Area creation, acceleration of tree planting projects and heard reports on sector-wise operations of respective departments. On the same day, the Chief Minister visited Historical Maha Shwe Myin Tin Pagoda, paid homage to the Buddha images and provided necessary instructions.
On arrival at the 6-storey Reinforced Concrete building construction site of Thu Mingalar Market ( Nyan Taw Market) in Ward 2, the Chief Minister inspected the completion of the construction process and arrangements to implement drainage system and coordinated necessities.
Subsequently, the Chief Minister inspected the designated areas to construct public restroom along Mandalay-Lashio Road and Pyin Oo Lwin Township entrance park, heard reports and fulfilled necessities.
