Tour in Taung Nyo: Visiting the Training Institute and Broadcasting Unit

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Taung Nyo Station Military Training Institute of Nay Pyi Taw Command on Wednesday.

The Commandant reported on the conducting of training courses, engaging in the agriculture and livestock breeding works and welfare activities. The Senior General instructed to provide training activities, keeping abreast with the changing trend of age in order to turn out qualified individual who are excelled in defence and security duties.

Thye then took a tour around the training institute including the exhibition booths and lecture rooms. In meeting with the officers, other ranks, families and trainees, the Senior General highlighted the development of military technologies and strategies, stressing the need to make constant study and training to meet the developing techniques.

He also instructed the administrative personnel to provide opportunities for welfare of the Tatmadawmen, ensuring to be well-disciplined and morally upright individuals. He also expressed his recognition to the Tatmadawmen who serve for national defend and security duty, sacrificing their lives, and also urged all to take pride in their service and to serve duty with responsibility.

During the meeting, foodstuff were provided for the officers, other ranks, families and trainees. They later proceeded to Tatmadaw TV Broadcasting Unit (Taung Nyo), and heard reports on work implementations and broadcasting of daily local and international news and other knowledgeable and interesting programs.

The Senior General stressed the need to be professional and successful in media broadcasting, producing interesting programs to attract the audience of young and old alike. They then toured around the TV Broadcasting Unit where health educative program and news report production were demonstrated.

The Senior General also viewed the chosen site for Broadcast Museum. In meeting with the officers, other ranks and staff, the Senior General highlighted for development of broadcast industry, to be in par with the changing trend of age. After the meeting, the Senior General provided foodstuff and cash assistance for the officers, other ranks and staff of the Tatmadaw TV Broadcasting Unit.
