China-Bangladesh FMs meeting

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Adviser for Foreign Affairs of the Interim Government of Bangladesh Touhid Hossain in Beijing on Tuesday, with the two senior diplomats pledging to strengthen bilateral interactions at various levels.

Wang said China and Bangladesh are good partners for common development. China has always placed Bangladesh in an important direction of neighborhood diplomacy and adhere to the policy of good neighborliness and friendship for all Bangladeshi people, he added.

The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of China-Bangladesh diplomatic ties and the “China-Bangladesh People-to-People Exchange Year.”
