MSME Development: Inspecting the MSME businesses in Thazi Township

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than inspected the MSME businesses in Mandalay Region on Saturday. At Kyauk Pon Kone Village in Thazi Township, the Union Minister viewed the process of producing fried onion and garlic, being operated by UK Foodstuff. He instructed for food safety measures, ensuring the cleanliness in the work environ.

In meeting with township level departmental personnel and MSME businessmen, the Union Minister explained the government’s efforts for development of MSME sector, urging all to implement the tasks in line with the procedures. The Union Minister and party later visited Ku Phyu Village and oversaw the thriving onion plantation by local farmer.
