Development Works: Meeting with staff and construction of embankment

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin presided over a meeting with the region, district and township level departmental officials in Yenanchaung Township on 17th January.

At the meeting, officials made clarifications on agriculture, livestock breeding, education, heatlh and manufacturing sector of the township, development activities and the oilfield operations. Upon calrifications, the Chief Minister gave necessary instructions on sufficient agricultural water supply, multicropping acceleration, local food sufficiency, systematic livestock breeding and agriculture and livestock integration.

He also called for the concerted efforts of the relevant individuals in improving socio-econmic status of local farmers. In the evening, the Cheif Minister and officials inspected the construction of 200 ft long bored pile embankment to prevent erosion of Ayeyawady River bank in Sone Ward of Magway Township. The project is being implemented with over 249 million kyat Regional Government Fund in 2024-25 Fiscal Year.
