Regional Development: MOBA Union Minister tours in Loikaw

Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung along with Kayah State Security and Border Affairs MinisterColonel Than Soe Aung and concerned officials visited Border Area Nationalities Youth Development Training School in Loikaw on 15th January.

The Union Minister heard reports on regional development works and salient points of the training school and coordiated the requirement. The Union Minister later met with the staff from Kayah State Development Supervisory Office, Border Area Nationalities Youth Development Training School (Loikaw) and Women Vocational Training School.

He urged all to make active participation in rehabiliation and regional development works as the state restores its stability. This was followed by provision of foodstuff and cash rewards to the staff. The Union Minister also toured around the office compound and training school, coordinating the needs. It is reported that preparations are underway to reopen trainings schools which have been closed temporarily within the state.
