Coordination Meeting: Meeting of Machinery Supervision Committee held

Chairman of Machinery Supervision Committee Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than attended the coordination meeting of the Committee held at the Ministry of Industry, in Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

First, the Union Minister discussed that during this meeting, the committee members would deliberate on the approval of the budget allocation and expenditure reports submitted by the ministries. He emphasized that the Machinery Supervision Committee plays a crucial role in the country’s industrial sector and is responsible for supporting the government with effective and efficient operations.

The Union Minister also highlighted the need for coordination to provide necessary machinery for expanding electricity distribution within the country, health services for the public, and hospital equipment. He assured that the committee would work to fulfill any additional needs raised during the meeting in a timely manner.

After that, the ministries presented their cases, which were clarified and discussed by relevant committee members and representatives from the ministries. After further discussions and final approvals, the Union Minister delivered the closing remarks, and the meeting was concluded.

In the evening, the Union Minister for Industry, in his capacity as the chairman of the National Level MSME Product Exhibition and Competition Organizing Committee, visited the ongoing preparations for the exhibition and inspected the condition of the exhibition halls.

The Union Minister directed that the exhibition halls should be completed within the set timeline and that the event should be conducted with the objective of ensuring the long-term sustainability of MSME businesses, encouraging mutual knowledge exchange among entrepreneurs, and facilitating collaboration. He also guided the officials to place emphasis on fulfilling their tasks effectively for the success of the exhibition.
