








A celebration for the 73rd anniversary Kayah State Day was held in Loikaw on Wednesday with the attendance of member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Admiral Tin Aung San.
After the event was formally opened by the ceremonial ribbon cutting, the Admiral unveiled the commemorative arch of the celebration. During the event, the attendees saluted the state flag and also paid tribute to the fallen heroes.
The commemorative message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General ThadoeMahaThraySithuThadoeThiriThudhamma Min Aung Hlaing was also read out during the event. Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin also extended greetings at the ceremony.
The event also included the presentation of awards to the recipients of honorary titles and the winners at the 5th National Sports Festival and 25th Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competition.
In addition, provisions of solar lamp, cash assistance, foodstuff, DTH Satellite and Set Top Boxes were presented for the staff members assigned in Kayah State. The celebration then continued with various activities including traditional games and quiz for children.
