Development Works: Opening new road and visiting the hospital

On January 14th, a new concrete road was opened in Loikaw to commemorate the 73rd anniversary Kayah State Day.

After the new road was opened by the ceremonial ribbon cutting event, member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office Admiral Tin Aung San unveiled the arch of the new road.

After the entertainment programs, the attendees strolled along the new road. They then proceeded to the construction site of new ThiriMingala Market, and heard reports on work progress. At the 500-bed People’s Hospital, they met with the health staff where officials provided reports on work undertakings.

During the meeting, cash assistance and foodstuff were provided for the medical trust fund and health staff. They also took a tour of the medical ward and delivery room as well as the Haemodialysis Unit, Imaging Department, CT Scan and Medical Store.
