Inspection of preparations: MoALI UM inspected preparations for 2025 Seed Fair

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung visited the Pyinmana Institute of Agriculture in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday to inspect preparations for the 2025 Seed Fair.

During the inspection, the Union Minister reviewed the cultivation of maize, sunflower, foreign and local cotton varieties and instructed the needs. The 2025 Seed Fair will bring together cotton farmers and agricultural entrepreneurs from Nay Pyi Taw and various regions and states, to promote education and technology in agriculture.

The Union Minister inspected goat, cow and poultry farms of Agriculture and Livestock Science students, as well as vegetable farms for practical training and research. He instructed responsible personnel to accelerate the sale of vegetables at affordable prices to canteens and departmental staff.

The Union Minister then inspected the 260.70-acre mechanized agriculture project in Zeyathiri Township and instructed on timely completion and seasonal planting.
