Health awareness talk: A health awareness talk held in SCU in Nay Pyi Taw

The officials and staffs from the Supreme Court of the Union and the Constitutional Tribunal attended a health awareness talk, which was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the Supreme Court of the Union at the Assembly Hall of the Supreme Court of the Union in Nay Pyi Taw on January 13 to enhance the health knowledge and well-being of the personnel, enabling them to carry out their duties effectively.

The talk focused on the topics such as diabetes, blood pressure and oral health. The event was attended by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Union, Union Judges, the Chairman and members of the Constitutional Tribunal, officials and staffs.

In total, approximately 200 officials and staff members from the Supreme Court of the Union and the Constitutional Tribunal attended the session.During the event, Professor Dr. Ye Myint, Superintendent of 1000-bed Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital delivered a talk on "Important Facts about Diabetes, and Blood Pressure," while Dr. Thanlwin Tun, Deputy Director of the Department of Public Health, delivered a presentation on "Health and Physical Activities."

The speakers answered questions raised by the attendees during the session.Additionally, the Healthcare team led by Professor Dr. Ye Myint from 1000-bed Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital as well as a team led by Professor Dr. Khin Maung, Superintendent of Nay Pyi Taw Dental and Oral Specialty Hospital conducted health checks for staff members at the temporary medical clinic of the Supreme Court of the Union. From 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, the teams provided screenings for diabetes, blood pressure, and oral health, as well as treatment and oral hygiene education.
