Inspection Tour: Laboratory test and MSME development

On 11th January, Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than inspected the arrangements to open laboratory in Pyin Oo Lwin Township of Mandalay Region.

In order to conduct laboratory testing for MSME food productions and industrial wastewater, manufacturing safe and quality food products, necessary tasks are being carried out to open a laboratory in line with the Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).  During the visit, the Union Minister stressed on timely installation of the necessary equipment and tools and encouraged to conduct capacity enhancement trainings for the emergence of skillful laboratory professionals.

On the 12th, the Union Minister visited Kan Oo Model Village in Meikhtila Township and made inspection at the dried and frozen meat manufacturing industries. There, the Union Minister inspected the production process and cattle farming condition and instructed to produce healthy products. He also encouraged the entrepreneurs to expand their businesses and coordinated requirements upon reports presented by the entrepreneurs.
