




A coordination meeting on future work processes related to implementing the objectives and responsibilities of the Ministry of Immigration and Population was held on January 10 and 11.
Union Minister U Myint Kyaing attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He explained the work undertakings of the Ministry including issuance of National Registration Cards under the Pan Khin Project Stage-3, compiling accurate voter lists, enumerating the Nationwide Census, ensuring accurate voter lists and providing effective services to the public through e-ID system and systematic supervising of immigration process.
He stressed the nearly 100 % success of work implementations at present, and urged all to continue efforts for cent percent accomplishment of the tasks which are essential for the future of the nation. Attendees reported on the plans related to the implementation of e-ID system under Pan Khin Project Stage-3 categorized by regions and states, submission of draft population verification lists for ensuring the accuracy of voter lists and ongoing process of addressing discrepancies and the tasks to be carried out in Census enumeration processes.
The Union Minister then coordinated necessary actions upon the reports, ensuring the successful completion of tasks within designated timeframe according the processes.
