Agricultural Development: Meeting with the Belarusian delegation

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr. Tin Htut on Thursday received a delegation led by Mr. Ivan Smilhin, Belarusian Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food at the meeting hall of the Ministry to discuss agricultural cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, discussions were made upon Myanmar-Belarus agriculture cooperation, economic, research and working processes which need to be accelerated, cooperation on animals and pesticide control services, promotion of investment in agriculture sector and trade promotion in agricultural products and foodstuff.

The discussion also focused on exchange of experience, statistic and modern technology in agriculture and food safety measures.
