Extreme winter conditions in Turkiye’s easternmost provinces

In Turkiye’s easternmost provinces of Kars and Ardahan, temperatures have dropped to as low as minus 20 degrees.

Residents in both cities are struggling with harsh winter conditions. Icicles and frost formations have appeared on buildings, roads are icy, and vehicles have frozen.
