Accepting Letters of Credence: SAC Chairman accepted Letters of Credence

Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing accepted the Letters of Credence of Dr. Nassereddin HEIDARI, the newly accredited Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar,at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the State Administration Council Chairman, Nay Pyi Taw on January 7.

Following the presentation of the letter of credence, discussions took place regarding strengthening the bilateral relationship between the two countries, including issues related to diplomacy, enhancing mutual trade, and fostering cooperation in the fields of science and technology and agriculture.

Both sides discussed further collaboration in cultural exchange, the promotion of friendly relations, and partnership development. Additionally, matters concerning Myanmar’s political developments, preparations for conducting free and fair elections, the need for rule of law and stability during the election process, and the invitation of international observation teams were also discussed cordially.

After the meeting, the SAC Chairman, Prime Minister and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran took a documentary group photo. Attending the call were the Joint-Secretary of the State Administration Council, General Ye Win Oo, the Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs, U Than Swe, as well as the Director-General of the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, U Zaw Tun Oo.
