One week after the tragic plane crash in South Korea, the bodies of most of the 179 victims were returned to their families.

Grieving relatives expressed their gratitude to the police, fire authorities and government workers for their swift and efficient recovery efforts.

Ambulances lined up near the runway to transport the victims' bodies from the temporary morgue to funeral parlors, marking the beginning of the mourning process for the families.

However, some families remain near the airport, still living in temporary shelters as they cope with the loss. While many of the victims' families have departed Muan International Airport, the community continues to hold onto hopes and prayers for a safer flying environment.
