Kayin New Year Festival: Celebration held in Kangyidaunt Township

Kangyidaunt Township in Ayeyawady Region organized a Kayin New Year Festival on Sunday.

The township level celebration took place at Magukyun Village, with the attendance of Region Ethnic Affairs Minister U Saw Lin Khae and officials. The festival commenced with the ceremonial ribbon cutting event, followed by presenting cash donation for the event. Local Kayin nationals entertained the attendees with Kayin traditional Don dance.
