Agriculture and Livestock Development: Commission meeting held in Nay Pyi Taw

The Agriculture and Livestock Development Commission held its meeting at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation on Friday.

Commission Chairman General Nyo Saw atteded the meeting and outlined the commission’s work plans for boosting production of agriculture and livestock products by laying down the policies. The attendees discussed the work undertakings of the commission.

The Agriculture and Livestock Development Commission was formed for boosting agricultural and livestock products, ensuring food sufficiency and socio-economic development, fostering market sharing by exporting the surplus, practicing the sustainable agriculture and livestock systems without damaging the natural environment and promoting local and foreign investment in agriculture and related industries.
