Religious Affairs: MORAC Union Minister tours in Bago

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin visited Bago on Thursday and paid homage to ShweGuGyi (Bodhgaya) Pagoda, Koe Thein Koe Than Pagoda, ShweGu Lay Pagoda, Shwe Aung Yway Pagoda and KyeikPon Pagoda.

During his visit, the Union Minister made discussions with the pagoda board of trustees about the detailed areas that need to be renovated within the pagoda compounds and instructed the priority sites for renovation. Then, the Union Minister and party later proceeded to Kanbawzathardi Palace where they inspected the Right-Wing Hall, Left-Wing Hall and Connecting Hall and instructed the needs to the officials.
