Children awarded the “National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement”

In an act to recognize and reward the bravery and achievements of the children, Indian President Droupadi Murmu conferred the “National Child Award” on children for exceptional achievements in seven categories in New Delhi on Thursday.

17 children hailing from 14 States and Union Territories have been selected for the award.

Government confers the award to children for achievements in Art and Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Science and Technology, Social Service, Sports, and Environment.
