Annual Meeting of MAIP: UAG gave opening speech through video message

The 4th Annual General Meeting of the Myanmar Association of Insolvency Practitioners was held at the Advanced Accounting and Auditing Training School in Yangon on 25th December, through a video conferencing system.

Dr. Kin Naing Oo, Union Auditor General and Chair of the Supervisory Council of Insolvency Practitioners, delivered the opening speech through a video message. In the opening speech, the Union Auditor General mentioned that the Myanmar Association of Insolvency Practitioners was established on June 1, 2020, which marks over four years since its founding.

She also highlighted that the Supervisory Council continues to work with relevant departments and organizations to fulfill the legal requirements related to the Insolvency Practitioners. She urged the association members to work towards enhancing their personal qualifications and actively participate in academic development programs to carry out their duties effectively and competently.

Following that, U Moe Kyaw, the Chairman of the Association, delivered a speech, and then the officers of the association read and approved the reports from the Board of Directors, the financial statements, and the external audit report. New board members and external auditors were appointed, and the membership fees were determined as per the agenda. Then, the Chairman of Association U Moe Kyaw, concluded the meeting with a closing speech.
