Field inspection tour: MCRD UM made a field inspection tour in Yangon

Union Minister U Hla Moe of the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries, and Rural Development, along with the Minister for Natural Resources of Yangon Region, permanent staff, directors, and relevant officials, conducted an inspection tour this morning within Yangon Region to assess the progress of dairy farming activities and regional development projects.

The Union Minister and party visited various areas, including the Mawbi Township, Myaungtaga Yay Kyaw  Village, where the Small Industries Department has been promoting small-scale production businesses and rural income generation programs.

They observed a motorcycle repairing shop run by a trainee completed the motorcycle repairing training program who was supported with tools and equipment by the training program. They also visited the Zinyaw Milk Cow Farming Cooperative Society in Yay Kyaw Village, where they observed the current conditions of the dairy cattle breeding activity, which has 100 milk cows run by 10 cooperative members.

They also visited the small-scale rural economic development projects in Ye Su Village, Mawbi Township, which are supported by the Rural Business Fund (RBF) and organized under a cooperative system.The Union Minister and party further visited the Min Gone-Wa Ya Gon inter-village road upgrade project, where a rural road has been upgraded to a concrete road, benefiting over 12,300 people across 3,100 households in five villages.

They also visited the Cooperative Ccollege (Phaunggyi) in the Hlegu Township and observed the educational activities there.During the field inspection tourt, the Union Minister met with local residents and farmers, listened to their concerns and needs, and provided necessary guidance and recommendations for further development.
