Ceremony of honoring: MoALI UM honored the athletes from the Ministry

A ceremony of honoring the athletes from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation who participated in the 5th National Sports Festival was held at the meeting room of the Ministrer's office in Nay Pyi Taw on 24th December.

The ceremony was attended by Union Minister U Min Naung, Deputy Ministers, departmental officials, sports coaches, and representatives from sports teams.During the ceremony, the Union Minister delivered a speech of honor and presented individual awards to outstanding athletes.

Following this, the Deputy Ministers awarded team sports prizes, which were received by the team leaders.Subsequently, the team leaders shared their experiences from the 5th National Sports Festival, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses during the competitions.

After that, the Union Minister, Deputy Ministers, and departmental officials enjoyed tea together with the athletes from the Ministry.The athletes representing the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation competed in six different sports at the 5th National Sports Festival. It was reported that they earned one gold medal, two silver medals, and three bronze medals.
