Competition Commission meeting: Commission Chairman MoC UM attended the meeting

Chairman of Myanmar Competition Commission Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn presided over the 4/2024 regular meeting of the Commission at the Ministry's meeting hall on Tuesday.

At the meeting, the Union Minister emphasized the need for continuous awareness-raising, staff capacity building, domestic and international cooperation and law enforcement. He stressed that the Competition Commission must conduct its related investigations and decision-making without bias or corruption, ensuring that all actions are in full compliance with the law and carried out accurately, fairly and impartially.

The workshop covered domestic and international cooperation on competition issues, complaint resolutions, next steps and priorities for effective competition law implementation, along with business plans aligned with ASEAN countries post-2030. Also present at the meeting were Vice Chairman, members, secretary and concerned officials from the Myanmar Competition Commission.
