





As part of the ASEAN-Japan Center's National Activity Project, the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism is implementing a hotel services training and a Japanese cuisine cooking training. The "Japanese Cuisine Cooking Training" opening ceremony took place at the Tourism Development Center in Yangon. The Union Minister of Hotels and Tourism, Dr. Thet Thet Khine, attended and delivered the opening speech.
During her speech, the Union Minister stated that the training was launched with the aim of providing excellent services to Japanese tourists and benefiting Myanmar hotels, restaurants, and those wishing to prepare and sell Japanese cuisine. She emphasized that the training would not only help provide high-quality services to Japanese travelers but would also benefit locals who wish to work skillfully in the Japanese cooking sector.
Additionally, the Myanmar Ambassador to Japan, U Soe Han, and the Programme Operations Director from the ASEAN-Japan Mr. Chairat delivered speeches online. Afterward, a commemorative photo was taken, and the practical training conditions for the course of the trainees were observed.
It is expected that the training will last for four weeks, it’s learnt.
